What began as a personal healing journey through Forrest Yoga evolved into a global movement of empowerment, led by Rosie and Kit Volcano, the visionary founders of The Little Volcano Coaching and Communication.
Their path wasn’t easy. In 2014, they opened a yoga studio driven by purpose—but haunted by scarcity.
“We believed that wanting to earn money made us bad people,” Rosie says. “Our business failed miserably.”
In 2017, sleeping on a couch in a friend’s office, they made a daring move: they invested $10,000 into a coaching program. That decision changed their lives forever.
The Power of Investing in Yourself
That investment brought mindset shifts, not just business strategies.
“We learned to stop apologizing for wanting to thrive,” Rosie says.
Within a year, they had their first six-figure month. Their community began to grow—and so did their confidence.
One Moment That Redefined Everything
The most transformative moment came at their first in-person coaching event. Led by a former pastor, Sabastian, the retreat was filled with Christian attendees—a group Rosie and Kit had often felt judged by.
On day one, Sabastian said:
“Give them a reason to reject you, and you give them a reason to accept you.”
Kit, newly transitioning from female to male, took that to heart.
The next day, wearing a purple leotard under his clothes, Kit made a statement of identity and trust. When the music started, he stripped down in front of the group—a bearded man with breasts, fully visible.
The room froze.
Sabastian smiled and said, “Come to Daddy.”
Kit ran to him and jumped into his arms.
The moment changed everything.
By the end of the retreat, what began as discomfort transformed into family. All preconceived notions and prejudices melted away. As Rosie puts it: “People are hard to hate close up.” It was a living testament that authenticity has the power to heal many wounds and build bridges between worlds.
Healing as a Business Model
Rosie and Kit now teach others how to break free of fear and shame, and build businesses rooted in truth.
Their advice?
“Be real. Be brave. And take action—even if it terrifies you.”
Looking Ahead
Rosie and Kit are expanding their presence with books, media features, and a podcast. But their mission remains rooted in one thing:
Helping people become unapologetically themselves.
