Determined to master his craft, Cooper started Epheris Fragrance in early 2025 with little more than essential oils and determination. What began with selling hand-crafted colognes in plastic spray bottles to friends has since evolved into a professional perfume line, now available on Etsy and showcased through the brand’s growing Instagram community.

For Cooper, every fragrance has a story. Rather than relying on industry clichés, Epheris Fragrance is built on originality and thoughtfulness. “The problem with the industry is stagnancy,” Cooper explains. “Everything is made in hopes of getting sales, not out of originality or creativity. I want to create something people can actually appreciate.”

With plans to balance his studies at Illinois State University while expanding the brand, Cooper is determined to see Epheris grow, even under demanding conditions. His philosophy is simple yet powerful—hard work is non-negotiable. “It doesn’t matter what you do in life, just work hard to be the best at it,” he says, echoing the wisdom passed down from his father.

As Epheris Fragrance continues to evolve, its mission remains clear: to bring depth, storytelling, and emotional resonance back into the world of perfume.
