Matthew Rabe Takes Aim at the Execution Problem Holding Business Owners Back

Business owners are rarely short on things they could be doing.

There is another campaign to launch, a sales process to improve, a team member to manage, a difficult conversation waiting to happen. Advice is everywhere. For an overwhelmed founder, the problem is often less about finding another idea and more about consistently acting on the right ones.

Matthew Rabe has made that distinction central to his work.

The founder of Wisconsin based performance coaching company Kingdom Training recently launched Limitless Leader, a six week, one on one coaching intensive created for business owners who have reached an execution plateau. The program does not begin with marketing tactics or another productivity system. Rabe instead looks at the internal patterns influencing the person making the decisions.

His premise is direct: sometimes the business has not reached its limit. The leader has reached a familiar one.

The Hidden Cost of an Execution Plateau

Execution problems are easy to misdiagnose because they often look like ordinary business problems.

A founder delays a decision and assumes more research is needed. A leader avoids delegating and concludes the team needs more training. Someone repeatedly abandons a plan halfway through and searches for a better plan.

Sometimes those conclusions are correct. Rabe believes there are other cases where the behavior keeps returning because its source has never been addressed.

“Most leaders don’t have a strategy problem. They have an identity problem,” he says. “You can’t out work a self image that’s set to a lower ceiling.”

That idea became the starting point for Limitless Leader and the proprietary REWIRE framework at its center.

Turning an Idea Into a Six Week System

Rabe launched Limitless Leader on July 11 and 12, 2026, at the Omni Hotel in downtown Chicago during the Message to Money mastermind with Paul Getter.

The finished program includes a full curriculum, weekly individual coaching sessions, and structured client tracking across six weeks. Rabe designed the format to give participants a defined period in which to identify limiting patterns, work through them, and observe changes in execution.

The REWIRE framework concentrates on self image and the internal habits that Rabe believes can keep capable leaders operating beneath their potential. Rather than relying primarily on motivation, the program uses structure and ongoing measurement to keep the work tied to behavior.

That reflects a broader philosophy behind Kingdom Training, which Rabe founded in Wisconsin’s Fox Valley to help entrepreneurs and business owners move beyond performance plateaus.

When Working Harder Stops Working

For founders, hard work is usually part of the origin story. Long days and personal sacrifice can be necessary when a company is young. Success often reinforces the belief that more effort is the answer to nearly every obstacle.

Eventually, that equation can become less reliable.

A leader carrying too much may respond by carrying even more. Someone frustrated by inconsistent execution may add another system to an already crowded schedule. The result can be a cycle in which effort increases while meaningful progress remains stubbornly similar.

Rabe wants leaders to examine that cycle before assuming the next solution must come from outside themselves.

His approach does not eliminate the need for strategy. Rather, it asks whether a leader’s internal patterns are allowing that strategy to be executed in the first place.

It is a subtle distinction, but one with practical consequences. Businesses ultimately move through decisions made by people. How those people respond to uncertainty, responsibility, ambition, and pressure inevitably shapes what happens next.

For Rabe, that makes leadership development more than a matter of acquiring skills. It also requires understanding the identity behind the decisions.

With Limitless Leader, he has condensed that idea into six weeks of focused work. The program is built for the business owner who already knows how to work hard and may finally need to understand why harder is no longer enough.
