It’s an honor to highlight your success on our platform. Do you mind telling us about the things you’ve been able to accomplish?
By simply placing one foot in front of the other and having the fortitude to never give up. After my first week of trading with the money I made from being an award winning Children’s Book Illustrator and turning an investment of $500 into over $10,000 within seven days time, I knew that this was a skill set that everyone should add to their repertoire. I quickly learned that the world of trading and investing was an unforgiving environment filled with sharks who wake up every morning to take the other players’ money, it took me a long time to replicate the results that I achieved my first week. I got to where I am because I decided to do everything in my power to learn the markets so I could siphon profits from them like the wolves of wall street that came before me. After joining several MLM companies that taught marketing and sales more than trading, my team formed our own trading acadmey which I named “The Hyena Hut,” originally led by me and Coach Tamarrow Thomas. From there we led live training sessions five out of seven days a week and taught dozens of people how to start multiplying their money in the financial markets. But I saw a problem…So many people wanted to get started but felt like they couldn’t afford it due to life circumstances. This is where our new project, HYENAS, comes in. “Here’s your education, now act SMART!”
Tell us about some of the memories you’ve made on your journey!
Getting to be named #2 entrepreneur in my sector by NY Weekly and to be the only black person on the list was an absolutely incredible honor but that article could never illustrate all the pain and years of hard work that I had to endure to get to where I am. The fact that I’ve been actively day trading has been only a little over a year, what I’m doing is legendary. Although the markets are absolutely ruthless, the biggest challenge that I have had to overcome on the trading journey are my bad habits. Trading takes a completely different mode of thinking to be successful. I had to reprogram the way I thought and the way I acted. Society programs you to be a failure at trading. I had to unlearn and relearn in order to become profitable and expand my way of thinking in order to translate that way of thinking into teachings for students within the Hyena Hut. Outside of overcoming myself, I had to overcome the fear and doubt that others projected onto this path that I paved for myself. People only know what they know and when you do something that is outside the realm of what they know, they tend to try to tell you all the reasons that your shouldn’t be doing what you are doing. Sometimes, we just have to let success and the rest of the world do the talking for you to the naysayers.
Do you have any final thoughts you would like to share with our audience?
Success means being able to live your life on your own terms doing what you want to do when you want to do it. Nothing more, nothing less. If I want to hop in the RV and take a road trip out west for the next few months and hit camp sites all throughout the United States, I want to be able to do that. If I want to be able to give all my closest friends custom HYENAS chains, I want to be able to do that do. If I want to be able to give every homeless person and every real charity I come across a stack of money, I want to be able to that. Success also means seeing the people around you winning.
