Finding Purpose Behind the Wheel
Every great entrepreneur has that “aha” moment—and for Jake Nicks, it happened somewhere between Texas and Florida. “I’d drive for hours, passing the same billboards over and over,” he recalls. “They all looked the same. I thought—what if we use the wreck itself to tell the story?”
That question became Crash Adz, a patent-pending startup that’s officially launched and now in its early growth phase. The company’s mission: disrupt outdoor advertising by transforming wrecked vehicles, aircraft, and other assets into mobile, high-impact displays.
From Vision to Action
Crash Adz is fully operational and currently introducing its visual concepts to prospective clients. “We’ve created detailed visuals that showcase the concept in action,” says Nicks. “The feedback has been amazing—firms immediately see how this can change their marketing game.”
While physical displays haven’t been deployed yet, the startup’s strong early interest shows a market hungry for innovation. “We’ve launched, and we’re building our first client relationships,” Nicks adds. “It’s an exciting time.”
Laying the Groundwork
As Crash Adz grows, the focus is on preparation and compliance. “Each market has unique advertising laws,” Nicks explains. “We’re building a foundation that allows us to scale smoothly and responsibly.”
This groundwork will give the company a competitive advantage once campaigns begin rolling out.
Faith at the Center
For Nicks, business and belief go hand in hand. “Keep God at the center—He’ll open doors you can’t,” he says. His guiding principle: focus on impact before income.
That mindset, he adds, is what keeps him and his team aligned through the startup grind. “When you build with purpose, you don’t burn out—you grow.”
Looking Forward
Crash Adz’s patent-pending platform is designed for scale, with plans to expand throughout the Southeast as it finalizes its first partnerships. Alongside it, Nicks is building ACE 6:38, a patent-pending fintech platform that rewards consumer engagement and turns attention into measurable action.
“The positive response to our visuals has been incredible,” says Nicks. “Now we’re focused on bringing those concepts to life, one client at a time.”
