Kimani Lee Helps Pioneer Chamber’s NextGen Series for Emerging Professionals

Supporting a New Generation of Local Leadership

Some of the most valuable professional opportunities begin with access. A conversation with an experienced business owner, an introduction to a community leader, or a chance to meet an elected official can give an emerging professional a much clearer view of what is possible locally.

The Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce is creating more room for those connections through NextGen, its new initiative focused on professionals under 40.

Kimani Lee, a Broward County native, is supporting the initiative by stepping into a leadership role to help pioneer and organize the series on behalf of the Chamber.

The Chamber will introduce NextGen with its YPN Launch Party on September 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Bringing Different Parts of the Community Together

The idea behind NextGen is to strengthen connections between emerging professionals and the wider business and civic community.

Lee’s role is to help support that effort by organizing opportunities for young professionals, business owners, elected officials, and community leaders to come together in the same setting.

That distinction matters. NextGen belongs to the Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce. Lee’s contribution is as a supporter and organizer who is helping pioneer the series and build momentum around its mission.

He sees considerable potential in bringing generations together. Younger professionals can gain perspective from people with years of business and community experience, while established leaders have an opportunity to hear directly from those who will increasingly influence South Florida’s economic and civic future.

Stepping Forward Close to Home

Lee’s leadership role is closely connected to his own South Florida roots.

Born and raised in Broward County, he has built his career around financial education, real estate, and mortgage advisory services. As a Mortgage Loan Advisor with Level Mortgage LLC, he works with buyers throughout Florida, helping them better understand financing and prepare for homeownership.

Supporting NextGen allows him to contribute in another way.

Instead of focusing on an individual transaction or client, the work is about helping the Chamber strengthen a professional community. The September launch party is the beginning of that effort, giving NextGen its first opportunity to bring the people it hopes to serve into one room.

For Lee, stepping into leadership means helping organize that room and supporting the Chamber as it builds what comes next.
