To Nick Edwards, leadership is more than strategy—it’s stewardship.
After years leading teams across industries, Edwards saw a troubling pattern: talented leaders hitting walls because they lacked clarity, systems, and support.
“I was tired of watching organizations struggle,” he says. “That pain became the fuel for my calling to empower leaders, strengthen teams, and shape legacies.”
This calling led to the creation of My Leadership Coach, where he helps entrepreneurs and executives align their leadership with their values—and their faith.
Building Around Belief
Marketing himself felt unnatural at first.
“As a business coach, I struggled to help people see the problems they were experiencing and how I could add value,” Edwards says. “It felt egotistical. I wanted to point people to purpose, not just to me.”
His solution: focus on transformation, not self-promotion. By showing how his methods created results, clients began to share their success stories—and referrals took off.
The Defining Decision
The tipping point came when his side business outpaced his full-time job.
“Clients were referring me faster than I could handle,” he says. “I set a date, quit my job, and went all in.”
That decision unlocked his capacity to grow My Leadership Coach and serve more leaders through one-on-one coaching, workshops, and strategic development systems.

“Faith doesn’t remove resistance,” he says. “It gives you the courage to keep moving through it.”
Mastery Over Balance
Rather than chasing balance, Edwards focuses on presence.
“Work-life balance is a myth,” he explains. “Be fully present where you are. If you win at business and lose at home…you lose.”
He avoids burnout by learning daily, choosing where to invest his energy, and making sure every conversation adds value.
Looking Ahead: Faith in the Future
Edwards’ next chapter includes the upcoming book Big Dream, Small Steps and the Leading Forward podcast launching in fall 2025. Both will explore how faith can fuel bold leadership and long-term business success.
“Faith isn’t a barrier to growth,” he says. “It’s the foundation of it.”
