The year 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of Pride celebrations in Washington, DC. Capital Pride Alliance is excited for Washington, DC to host WorldPride 2025 and share this momentous and exciting milestone with the international community.
WorldPride DC 2025 will feature a vibrant and innovative slate of cultural events and programs that will highlight the best that Washington, DC has to offer. From music to film, from the National Mall to Embassy Row, you’ll experience the world through Washington’s multifaceted, multicultural community. It will be an event that fuses art and culture.
Capital Pride Alliance announced that the District will host WorldPride from May 22 to June 8, 2025. D.C. was chosen by InterPride, an international association representing more than 400 organizations from 70 countries.
On this occasion, the plastic artist Adrián Erazo, born in Venezuela and with an outstanding career in Colombia and the United States, will be among the celebrities invited to this great event. Adrián Erazo will be a guest advisor due to his experience as an artist, dedicated to promoting art and renewable culture.
WorldPride is one of the largest LGBTQIA+ celebrations in the world and comes just as the District marks 50 years of Pride celebrations.
Washington, DC has long been a creative springboard for global movements, policies, and gatherings. Through thought-provoking programming and events, WorldPride attendees will be inspired and empowered to use the tools and connections they gain to create positive change in their own communities.
